Pierre-Emmanuel Seytre | Partner (Laos/MM)
Pierre is a graduate from the Institute d’Etudes Politiques d’Aix en Provence, economics and financial affairs’s section (1999), University of Aix en Provence School of Law (LL.B, 1996; LL.M. in Business Law, 1997), Business Law Institute of the University of Aix en Provence (“DEA” in Business Law, 1998), University of Connecticut School of Law (LL.M, 1999).
Pierre-Emmanuel is a doctorate candidate at La Sorbonne University (Paris 1). He was admitted to the New York Bar in early 2003. Prior to joining Vovan, Pierre-Emmanuel practiced law at Deloitte & Touche (Paris), the French Embassy in China (Beijing) and Shearman & Sterling (Paris). Since 2008, Pierre is seconded to NT2 PC in Laos as in-house counsel. He speaks French, English and Thai
Kiyotake Yokohari | Partner
Yokohari, a Japanese lawyer, has more than 10 years of experience in all aspects of corporate, labor issue, M&A, law suit and business counselling in Japan. He is also a Japanese tax accountant and Certified Public Accountant. He wrote many books of M&A and contract in Japan. He speaks Japanese and English.
Yokohari graduated from the faculty of Law from Meiji University in 2000. He obtained his lawyer’s license in 2003. He is also a partner of Mirai-sogo-law offices in Japan.
Pongsake Roengkosin | Head of Litigation
Leading the litigation department of the firm since 1998. Khun Pongsak is a member of the Law Society of Thailand since 1986 and a Barrister-at-Law since 1987. Khun Pongsak worked for ten years in local litigation firms and then established his own practice from 1997. He has accumulated more than 25 years of experience in ligitation.
Khun Pongsak obtained his LL.B. from Ramkhamhaeng University in 1983, and speaks Thai and English.
Poonchai Kanjanaroi | Senior Associate
Khun Poonchai graduated from the faculty of Law from Thammasat University in 1979. He obtained his Lawyer's licence in 1997 and his Notorial Services Attorney License in 1997.
He has 31 years experience in providing corporate, property and business legal advice to companies engaged in Human Resources, Oil, Gas and Project Management.
He speaks Thai and English.
Siri Lerdsirisopon | Senior Associate
Siri specializes in corporate law in Myanmar and advises foreign investors interested in setting up business operations in Myanmar. Siri splits his time between Yangon and Bangkok.
Siri also has extensive experience in corporate practice in Thailand, cross-border transactions, and international investments in South East Asia. Prior to joining Vovan, Siri practiced intellectual property litigation with Bingham McCutchen LLP in Silicon Valley, California. His work encompassed matters related to patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. While living in Los Angeles, Siri volunteered with Public Counsel advocating the legal rights of homeless individuals and children in juvenile detention centers.
Siri earned his Juris Doctor from University of California Hastings in San Francisco and Bachelor of Science in industrial and systems engineering from University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Siri is admitted to practice in California and was registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Siri is fluent in English and Thai, and proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
